10/16/18 Dead Daisies New Single and European Tour

“Can’t Take It With You” is the latest single of their album Burn It Down and it was released last week.  The band is preparing to join the KISS Cruise VIII prior to a run of festival and headlining dates through November and December in the UK and Europe.  To make things extra special, at their headlining shows, the first 50 fans in line will get a Meet & Greet and “Daisyland” Acoustic Set.  That’s worth showing up early for!  More info can be found on their website.

10/16/18 Train to Release Greatest Hits

On November 9, Train will do what they have long avoided - release a greatest hits compilation.  It will consist of 16 of the songs that made the band what they are along with a cover of Careless Whisper featuring Kenny G.  The album is available for pre-order at the band’s website, along with some pre-order merchandise bundles.  Singer Pat Monahan promises to be back in a few weeks with more news.

10/17/18 Joe Perry Returns to the Road

In support of his solo album Sweetzerland Manifesto, Joe Perry will be returning to the road for ten shows, mostly in early December.  His band features Aerosmith bandmate Brad Whitford, and Gary Cherone of Extreme.  VIP packages are also available, and include a meet & greet, Q&A session and soundcheck party.  More info can be found on Joe’s website.

10/18/18 Frank Hannon Releases Cover Video of “Hush”

The Tesla guitarist has quite an active solo career and his latest project includes “multiple albums of cover songs, tributes and collaborations.”  The Deep Purple tune, “Hush” is featured on the latest release, From one place… to Another! Vol. 2, and features Randy Hansen (Jimi Hendrix tribute guitarist).  The song displays Hannon’s outstanding guitar work, and the rest of the album will be equally gratifying, no doubt.  Pre-order information and special offers can be found on the website.  

10/25/18 Mark Slaughter, Lance Lopez Get Grammy Nods

Both artists have been nominated in the first round of voting for the 61st Grammy Awards.

Mark Slaughter was nominated for the category Best Rock Performance for his album Halfway There.

Lance Lopez was nominated for the category Best Contemporary Blues Album for Tell The Truth.

10/26/18 New Release by Icarus Witch Out Today

11/9/18 Iron Maiden Announces 2019 U.S. Tour

The Legacy of the Beast Tour will head to the States in the summer of 2019.  The European leg of the tour featured a larger than life stage show and one heck of a set list, so the U.S. can expect the same.  The Raven Age will open on all dates and tickets go on sale November 16 for the fan club  and other pre-sales and November 19 for everyone else.  VIP packages will be available.  Check the band's website for the latest news on the tour.

11/11/18 Joe Perry Hospitalized After Guest Performance

The Aerosmith guitarist had just performed with Billy Joel at his Madison Square Garden show when he reported feeling short of breath.  Paramedics transported him to a local hospital where he was reported alert and responsive.   He will be unable to appear at the Rock and Roll Fantasy Camp and apologized to fans, but is expected to be back on the road as expected later this month.

11/13/18 Train Announces Summer Tour with The Goo Goo Dolls


The band, who just released a greatest hits compilation and a cover of “Careless Whisper” with Kenny G, will be teaming up with The Goo Goo Dolls for a U.S. tour this summer.  Tickets are on sale now for the dates that start in Auburn, WA on June 7th and end on August 17th in Mansfield, MA.  More info can be found on the band’s website.

11/14/18  Whitesnake Announces Headlining Tour


The band is releasing a new album entitled Flesh & Blood in 2019 on Frontiers Records.  Several festival dates had previously been announced, but they now have a list of headlining dates in the U.S., spanning April and May.  Tickets are on sale now and VIP packages are available.  More information can be found on the band’s website.

11/20/18  Three Tremors Announce Debut Album


The band features Tim “Ripper” Owens (Judas Priest, Iced Earth, Dio Disciples), Harry “The Tyrant” Conklin (Jag Panzer, Satan’s Host, Titan Force) and Sean “The Hell Destroyer” Peck (Cage, Denner/Shermann, Death Dealer), three of metal’s vocal heavy-hitters.  The self-titled album will be out Jan. 18, 2019, will feature all three singers on every track, and will include various metal styles.  Metal fans can check out Pledge Music for special purchasing options.

11/23/18  Kenny Wayne Shepherd Band Teases New Album/Tour


Fresh off the Lay It On Down world tour (120 shows in 12 countries), the KWS Band has dropped hints of a new album, a U.S./European tour with Beth Hart and a co-headlining tour with Buddy Guy for 2019.  They also let out some info on upcoming features on the Kenny Wayne Shepherd YouTube Channel - Blues From The Backroads TV (BBRtv) will premier in December with music videos and special features, plus special content for 11Club members.  Check the band’s website for more info.

1/11/19  The Who Planning New Album and Tour in 2019


For the first time in more than a decade, The Who plans to release a new studio album.  Guitarist Pete Townshend apparently insisted on a new album release first before hitting the road again and states he has 15 demos already completed.  Singer Roger Daltry has not yet added his part.  While no dates have been confirmed, the proposal is for a 30 date arena tour of North America.  Keep an eye on the band’s website for more info as it comes available:  https://www.thewho.com

1/11/19 The End Machine Releases New Video  For “Alive Today”

1/11/19  Three Tremors Announce Summer Tour


Sean “The Hell Destroyer” Peck, Tim “Ripper” Owens” and Harry “The Tyrant” Conklin, have announced a U.S. tour in support of their debut album due out on Jan. 18, 2019.  The tour starts Feb. 14 in Seattle, WA, and winds up March 11 in Pittsburgh, PA.  The band completed a European tour in September and they received such great feedback that they knew they had to follow-up with a U.S tour.  More info on the tour can be found at the band's website here:  http://www.thethreetremors.com

1/9/19  Def Leppard Announces Canadian Tour

12/26/18  Underground Thieves Latest Single and Video

The 8-piece band, led by Silvertide’s Nick Perri, has just released their sixth single/video entitled “Fall”.  The tune and video both have a hypnotic quality, with a sound a bit like Pink Floyd.  Perri laid out a plan with the band to release 12 “chapters”, each song being a chapter in the musical story that showcases the talents of the various  collaborators in the band.  Once the 12 have been released, the whole will be compiled into a full-length album.  Check out the band’s website for their latest chapter, as well as all the previous releases:  https://www.undergroundthieves.com

12/10/18 Hair In The Fair Festival July 11-14 2019

Taking place in Welland, Ontario, the inaugural event boasts such artists as Sebastian Bach, Vince Neil, Ratt, Tom Keifer, Quiet Riot, Jackyl, Slaughter, Black ’N Blue, XYZ, Autograph, L.A. 12/3/18  Judas Priest Announces Spring/Summer 2019 North American Tour

1/14/19 The Who Announces 2019 Tour


Just a few days after teasing plans for a tour and a new album, The Who has officially announced the details of the tour.  Dubbed the “MOVING ON!” tour, the duo of Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshend will join forces with an orchestra for 29 arena dates in North America.  In addition to the orchestra, the familiar faces that have toured with the band before will be back.  The first leg of the tour will start in Grand Rapids, MI on May 7 and end on June 1 in Toronto, ON.  The second leg will commence in the fall on Sept. 6 in St. Paul, MN and end on Oct. 23 in Edmonton, AB.  Tickets go on sale to the general public thru Live Nation on Jan. 18, and VIP packages will also be available.  https://www.thewho.com/the-who-announce-2019-north-american-moving-on-tour/

1/15/19 Billy Idol Announces Additional 2019 Tour Dates

1/15/19 Kenny Wayne Shepherd Band Announces Tour Dates with Buddy Guy


Following the Legendary Blues Cruise in February, dates in April with Beth Hart Band, and some time entertaining fans in Germany, KWS will spend some of June sharing the stage with blues legend Buddy Guy.  Only seven dates are currently on the KWS website, scattered in the NE, with ticket sales going live to the general public on Jan. 18.  With talk of a new album this summer, more tour dates may be forthcoming, so be sure to keep an eye on the KWS website for further info and details:  https://www.kennywayneshepherd.net

1/22/19 Huey Lewis Plans Release of 10th Studio Album

It has been nearly two decades since the band released any original music, though they did put out a set of covers in 2009 called Soulsville.  The new album is slated to be released in the spring by BMG and the band reports that they “honestly feel that it’s among our best work.”  It is still unclear whether the band will be able to tour following Huey Lewis’ diagnosis of Meniere’s disease last year.  The disorder of the inner ear causes problems with balance and hearing, and left Lewis unable to sing, forcing the cancelation of the band’s tour.  Having the new record leaves fans hopeful that some shows will follow.  Check the website for more info:  http://www.hueylewisandthenews.com

1/23/19 Foreigner Looks for the Fan Who Inspired "Juke Box Hero"

Lou Gramm and Mick Jones wrote the song after an encounter with a young fan they met waiting by the backstage door, by himself, in the pouring rain.  They invited him in and gave him a glimpse of what goes on backstage.  The song came about after this encounter, seeing how dedicated the fan was, and mesmerized by the whole experience.  In conjunction with their Juke Box Hero musical, the band has launched a search for that fan, offering a VIP experience at the premiere of the musical if he can be found.  Knowing that the fan may never be found, there is also a contest where you can plead your case that you are the most dedicated fan.  To find out how to enter the contest, or if you are the REAL Juke Box Here, check out the info here.
